Andrew Parsons MSc PhD

Behavioural and Emotional Science

Andrew has a background in science, leadership and personal development. He holds BSc, MSc, PhD degrees in Pharmacology. His career in medicine development spans over 25 years. Andrew has led migraine, stroke, neuro-degeneration and -regeneration research projects in SB and GSK and has held executive leadership positions in Management of Business functions in the Neurology and External Innovation platforms of GSK. He is a visiting lecturer in the School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences at the Robert Gordon University of Aberdeen and non-executive chairman of Pharmasum Therapeutics AS.

His executive leadership role across organisational and cultural boundaries led him to become a qualified Professional/Executive Coach and Certified Professional Medical Coach with over 8 years of experience supporting individuals make successful transitions through personal and professional challenges. He is a volunteer coach and coach supervisor at the Fountain Centre, a UK charity supporting people impacted by cancer at the St Luke's Cancer Unit, Royal Surrey County Hospital.
